Are there any steps for Quran memorization?

Ameen I have a question concerning the Quran memorization. I know that this question can be too general so if it is easier for you, I wouldn’t mind if you send me a video with long details.

My question is: Are there any steps for Quran memorization ? Should one memorize the symbols as well, the number of the Ayahs, the number of the chapter etc…

As for the Quran memorization, I am actually preparing a series that will be like the ultimate guide to those who want to memorize the Quran in shaa Allah, to share some tips, tricks and the correct steps to memorize the Quran, but first I need to make sure its structure is good, and will help everyone the best way in shaa Allah.As for your question: should you memorize the symbols, no, not really, but when you memorize, you will learn to stop in certain spots when you recite, you have to memorize where you stop in an aya every time and never change where you would stop, since it will help you to memorize faster. This also means that you have to make sure that you memorize the Quran correctly, since the way you memorize will always stick to your mind. As for the number of the aya, chapter etc .. this is not necessary, but you have to know the order of surahs of course.
