As a teacher of the Quran and Islamic knowledge, your role carries deep responsibility and honor, and we recognize that. The following guidelines are designed to ensure a high standard of teaching, professionalism, respecting for the words of Allah ﷻand keeping the trust of our students.

Disciplinary and Code of Conduct Regulations for Teachers

These regulations aim to organize work within the academy and ensure the quality of the educational process, while preserving the rights of both teachers and students.

Definitions:

·         Class: The scheduled learning session between the teacher and the student through the approved platform.

·         Tardiness: When the teacher joins the class after its scheduled time.

·         Absence: When the teacher does not attend the class at all.

·         Excused Reason: A documented emergency (illness, unavoidable circumstance, confirmed general internet outage, or a first-degree relative’s death).

·         Prior Notice: Informing the administration within the specified time before the class.

·         Class Report: A brief report submitted by the teacher after each class, including the topics covered, the student’s performance evaluation, and any important notes.

General Commitment:

·         The teacher is committed to attending the class at the scheduled time.

·         The teacher is required to inform the HR Department of any circumstance that prevents attendance, in accordance with the rules stated in these regulations.

·         The teacher is required to submit a detailed report after each class.

·         The teacher is obligated to make up for any shortcomings caused by tardiness or absence.

Tardiness to Class:

Less than 5 minutes–          No penalty applies.-          The student should be compensated for the remaining time if possible.
From 5 to 10 minutes–          Issue a warning to the teacher to clarify the violation of punctuality.-          Deduct 10% from the teacher’s share for this class.
More than 10 minutes–          Deduct 25% of the teacher’s allocated share for the class.-          In case of repetition (3 times within a month): a written warning.
Repeated Tardiness–          Five times within one month: deduct 50% of the teacher’s share for the last class.-          Seven times within two months: temporary suspension from teaching for one week.

Absence Without Excuse or Prior Notice:

First time–          Deduct 100% of the teacher’s share for the class.-          The session must be rescheduled for the student free of charge, and no payment will be issued to the teacher for this session.-          A written warning from the administration. 
In case of repetition–          TwiceAn additional 20% deduction from the total monthly earnings.-          Three timesAn additional 40% deduction from the total monthly earnings.-          Four timesTermination of Contract.

Cancellation:

Cancellation with Excuse and Prior Notice–          Notification must be given at least 12 hours in advance.-          No deduction applies for the first time within the month.-          In case of repetition more than twice in a month: The Teacher may be required to reschedule the canceled class, the teacher forfeits payment for the class.
Cancellation with Excuse but Without Prior Notice –          Deduct 25% from the teacher’s share of the class.-          The teacher is required to make up the class for the student.

Preparing Class Reports

In case of failure to write the report or delay in its submission.

less than 24 hours delay–          Written Notice
Between 24 and 48 hours delay –          Deduct 5% from the teacher’s share of the class.
After 48 hours–          Deduct 10% from the teacher’s share of the class and issue a written warning.
Repeating the failure to submit the report three times within a month. –          An additional 20% deduction from the total monthly earnings.

Class Recording

Failure to record sessions without a valid technical reason may result in:

  • First time: A warning
  • Second time: Non-payment for the session
  • Repetition: Or further disciplinary action, including termination

Unacceptable Excuses:

·         Forgetting the class schedule.

·         Being occupied with another task.

·         Repeated personal internet issues without taking any corrective measures.

·         Undocumented or repeated excuses.

General Provisions:

·         The administration has the right to assess exceptional circumstances.

·         These regulations apply to all teachers without exception.

·         These regulations are considered an integral part of the teacher’s contract.
