Where can I file a complaint?
The member who is responsible for handling complaints is the manager of Arabic101 Academy. So for teachers (and other team members), if they want to file complaints, they can email them to manager@arabic101.org, which will be investigated and resolved in shaa Allah.
In case the complaint has not be resolved, or it was with the management team itself, then your complaint will be forwarded and handled by Drs. Islam Fekry directly in shaa Allah.
How can I object to my academic evaluation?
If you feel that your lesson evaluation was unfair, unjustified, or you feel that your supervisor is not being fair with you, follow these steps:
First, contact your supervisor
Ask for more details behind the evaluation backed up by evidence. Inquire about the points you can improve or work on to enhance your professional level. If you didn’t like how the feedback was given to you, communicate that with your supervisor to resolve the issue in shaa Allah
Secondly, if there are no clear justifications provided or the supervisor refuses to communicate or is taking the matter personally
You have the right to submit a complaint to the manager, explaining the details accurately and providing proof of your attempts to resolve the issue with your supervisor. If there are recordings or lesson material that are relevant to your case, include them and send them to manager@arabic101.org
Why am I not getting any new Trials?
Getting new students and trials, depends on three main factors:
1- Academic readiness: The teacher’s ability to follow the Academy standards and apply them in class.
2- Technical readiness: The tools that are at the teacher’s disposal are up to the Academy standards.
3- Availability: It is possible that you fulfill the first two points, but the range of your availability makes it hard for students to follow a full course twice or thrice a week.
Still don’t know why? then you can simply contact your direct supervisor and inquire about the reason.
How can I improve my own equipment?
If you’ve been an active member of the time and your number of hours exceeds the threshold, you may be eligible to new equipment (web-camera, mouse-pad, microphone, laptops, screens etc …) that can help you improve the quality of your classes even more. To inquire about, contact your supervisor.
How can I ask for vacation?

What should I do if I face disrespect or inappropriate behavior from a student or parent?
If a student or parent communicates disrespectfully, do not engage emotionally. Document the incident and report it directly to your supervisor or manager. The academy will handle the situation professionally, in shaa’ Allah. Teachers have the right to a respectful and safe teaching environment, and our teachers represent Arabic101, so we do not accept any disrespect toward any of our team members.
What if there’s an emergency and I can’t attend class?
In case of an emergency, inform your supervisor or support member as soon as possible, even in your Teacher’s Group ideally at least 3 hours before the class. The support team will contact the student to reschedule. Frequent last-minute cancellations without valid reasons may affect your reliability rating, and may bring your overall rating down.
I want to call in sick, what do I do?
If you fall ill, inform your supervisor or support member as soon as possible, even in your Teacher’s Group ideally at least 3 hours before the class. The support team will contact the student to reschedule.
For sisters who experience regular extreme pain during certain days of the month, please inform about that in a timely fashion so that we can prepare the students and arrange reschedules without disappointments or frustrations. For sisters, make sure you read this fatwa [CLICK HERE]
Is there a specific ‘dress code’?
Teachers are expected to dress modestly and professionally during classes, following Islamic etiquette. Sisters should observe ‘Proper’ ḥijāb properly, and brothers should maintain a neat and dignified appearance. More on the proper guidelines of dress code, check the Technical Standards.
Remember, teaching the Qur’an is among the noblest of deeds. Every letter your student learns counts in your record of good deeds.
May Allah make your teaching a source of sadaqah jāriyah for you.
