Are ‘Trial Sessions’ compensated for teachers?
The policy of the academy is that teacher is compensated for the (Trial Session) if the student decides to continue studying with you. If that happens, then you are compensated for that lesson at the same tier which the student then chooses.
Why don’t I have a contract yet?
When a new teacher joins the academy, they join us for a period on trial basis for 4 weeks initially. During this period they get regularly monitored and evaluated by the supervision team. This period of 4 weeks might get extended if requested by supervision. Once management team gets green light on a certain teacher, we’ll invite the teacher to sign the contact in shaa Allah
When and how do teachers receive payments?
Teachers receive payments on the 26th of each month.
If you have a PayPal account, then your payments are sent and processed in USD.
If you don’t have a PayPal account, then we’ll wire the payments in local currency (mostly EGP) using Instapay (in Egypt).
Payment details, attendance confirmation, and class logs must match the dashboard data. If you notice a payment discrepancy, contact the Billing dept. (Ms. Savannah) within 7 days of receiving your payment.
Why is my salary appearing in Euros?
Arabic101 is a Dutch company following EU regulations. So while our course prices are indicated in USD, students still pay their invoices in Euros as per Dutch rules. That’s why, it may appear on your account that your salary is in Euros, but teachers may still choose to be paid in USD or EUR. If you don’t have a PayPal account, then the payment will be in your local currency.
How can I receive a raise?
Teachers at Arabic101 are categorized according to their skills, Ijazat, experience and work ethics. You may apply for a raise if you receive three consecutive positive evaluation from your supervisor within a period of 12 weeks. Your request is submitted to the Management team, and it will then be decided on in shaa Allah.
Teachers are paid with a percentage of minimum 30% and maximum 50%.
Why didn’t my salary update after teacher a class?
There are two reasons why this happens:
- You taught the lesson outside the Arabic101 system, which is against the regulations.
- You forgot to end the open class and write the report.
If you made sure that neither of these cases apply to you, then it must be a bug in the system and so you should report it directly to our technical support dept. Mr Mahmoud Naser.
